Cook County Assessors Office - Use this site to get forms to claim your homeowners exemption. Your primary residence is eligible. All you have to do is fill out a half page form under the For, section on their site. If you are a senior, don’t forget to claim that exemption as well! You can also get information about appealing your taxes here.
Cook County Treasurers Office - Use this site to pay your property taxes online, determine how much you owe, etc. If you want to appeal your taxes, use the link above to visit the Asessors Office.
